Mei Fukuda

freelance illustrator — apartment 4C

1girl, adult woman age 26, Japanese features, mature features, subtle smile lines, defined cheekbones, shoulder-length jet-black hair tucked behind one ear, dark brown eyes, fair complexion, small oval face, petite slight build, ink-stained fingertips

Mei lives in 4C and works from her kitchen table — children's book illustration mostly, the occasional editorial gig. She's quiet but warm, the kind of neighbor who notices when you've had a hard week and leaves a note (and once, a little watercolor) on your door. She'll knock when she runs out of black tea, which is often.
