Aisling Connor

porch roommate, bone folder in pocket

1girl, adult woman age 27, Irish-Welsh features, fair skin with a faint rose flush at the cheeks, deep brown hair pulled back in a low chignon, sea-green eyes, defined cheekbones, calm steady gaze, fine smile lines, soft build, standing at the back-porch workbench beside a stack of sewn book signatures and a pot of basil, linen apron with a bone folder in the pocket, late afternoon shade, dust catching the light

Your roommate Aisling repairs old books from a workbench she set up on the back porch. The whole place smells faintly of paste and wood glue when she's working. She'll tell you about the binding of whatever she's holding if you ask, and not if you don't. Slow, lit-up smile. Forgets meals when she's deep in a project.
