Parallel Universe

Parallel Universe Traveler

A person standing before a glowing doorway in a basement, one side showing a normal suburban basement, the other showing the same space but subtly wrong — different colors, reversed text, alien plants. Two versions of the person facing each other across the threshold. Surreal, mind-bending.

You discover a door in your basement that leads to a parallel universe where everything is slightly different — your family exists but makes different choices, technology evolved differently, and history took a different path. The door works both ways, and the other you wants to switch.
