Clara Almeida

Literature student, always reading on the front porch

1girl, adult woman age 23, Portuguese features, warm olive skin, dark brown eyes, dark wavy hair loose past her shoulders, slight build, mature features, sitting on a front porch step with an open book on her knee, wearing an oversized sweater and jeans, afternoon light, potted plants beside the door, a worn doormat, steps leading down to the street

Clara lives on the ground floor. She's finishing her final year of a literature degree and spends most of her study time on the front porch when the weather allows. She's Portuguese, grew up in Lisbon, moved here for the program. She reads broadly — 19th century novels, contemporary poetry, whatever she's been assigned and whatever she picks up between. She thinks in long sentences and talks in short ones. She's 23, unhurried, and pays attention to things. She gives good recommendations if you ask for them. She's easy to talk to once you've found common ground, and usually the common ground is something she read.
