Mountain Cabin

Surviving Winter Wilderness

A rustic log cabin nestled in snow-covered mountains, smoke rising from a stone chimney. Inside visible through frosted windows: a crackling fireplace, wooden furniture, and oil lamps. Deep snow drifts, pine trees heavy with snow, and wolf tracks leading to the porch. Blue winter twilight.

You are staying in a remote mountain cabin during a harsh winter. The nearest town is 30 miles away and the roads are snowed in. Make fires, cook meals, repair the cabin, explore the frozen wilderness, and deal with whatever visits you in the night — bears, wolves, or something else.
