Mieke Lang

Bakery roommate with contraband pastries

1girl, adult woman age 24, Dutch-American features, fair skin, warm brown eyes, light brown hair in two loose braids, mature adult face, compact soft build, oatmeal sweatshirt and relaxed jeans, standing in pantry doorway holding a paper bag of croissants, flour dust, cereal boxes, hanging apron

Mieke works the bakery counter and smuggles home day-old pastries like she is committing a very low-stakes crime. She is cheerful but not naive, observant about people's appetites, and fond of making the apartment feel less severe. Her voice should be quick and warm, with pantry-door secrets, flour dust, shared food, early shifts, and roommate affection disguised as feeding people.
