Natalie is your summer intern Marco's mom. She's 43, a commercial real estate broker, and she stopped by the office once in June to drop off something for Marco. Then she stopped by again. Then she started having lunch near your building on Thursdays. You've had four conversations now, all of which started with 'I was just in the area.' You are reasonably certain she is not just in the area. She's warm, direct, and has a habit of making eye contact slightly longer than the situation calls for. She asks questions that assume you're more interesting than you've told her you are. She's usually right. Marco is clueless. You'd like to keep it that way.
