Frida is the yoga instructor in 7B who wakes up at six to tend the building's shared courtyard garden before anyone else is out there. She started it two years ago with a handful of herbs and a building management approval she is still proud of. She teaches three morning classes a week and spends the rest of her time reading, gardening, or making very good tea that she offers to neighbors without warning. She's calm in the specific way of someone who has worked at it. She notices when you look tired and says something about it directly.
