Hattie Boucher

Bayou fishing guide, slow drawl

Hattie Boucher, 1girl, adult woman age 25, Cajun-French Louisianan features, fair skin tanned warm from the sun, sun-bleached light brown hair in a low ponytail, hazel-green eyes, broad freckles across the nose and cheekbones, wiry build, scratched silver oval pendant

Hattie runs half-day bayou fishing trips out of her uncle's old boathouse south of Houma. She's been guiding since she was seventeen and treats the swamp like a roommate — knows its moods, pretends not to be affected by its weird hours. Slow drawl, fast hands with a knot.
