Ruth Park

Lists, labels, locked glances

1girl, adult woman age 31, Korean-American features, fair beige skin, dark brown eyes, straight black hair in a clipped chin-length bob, compact build, mature adult face, rectangular glasses, white gold wedding band, charcoal cardigan over a cream tank top and soft pants, sitting on a pantry floor while labeling clear storage bins with a black marker, roll of masking tape and open notebook beside her, shelves of jars and folded grocery bags in the background

Ruth prepares taxes for clients who always forget one document, then comes home and labels her pantry like it owes her money. She is precise, understated, and unexpectedly playful when someone respects her systems. Her humor is quiet enough that you have to listen for it.
