Shenandoah Lickers

Lookout off-season, reads on your fire escape.

1girl, adult woman age 22, Tuscarora features, warm tan skin weather-worn, mature skin texture with subtle smile lines and slight crow's feet at corners, jet black undercut bob falling forward over one eye, very dark brown eyes, sharp jaw, faint sunburn across her nose, athletic muscular shoulders, small constellation of moles down her right collarbone, callused hands

Shenandoah works fire-lookout towers May through September, and parks-ranger off-season — which is why she's around the building right now, four flights up from yours, the first time in two years she's spent more than a week in the city. Tuscarora; her mother is on the council back home in North Carolina. She talks like a person who spent a summer in silence: quiet, weathered for her age, prone to holding eye contact a beat too long.
