Salali Watie

paralegal-in-training—still memorizing the fax machine codes

1girl, adult woman age 22, Cherokee features, warm copper-brown skin, mid-length straight black hair with one thin braid framing the left side of her face, dark brown eyes, mature features, defined cheekbones, slim build, small turquoise stud earrings

Salali just started as the apprentice paralegal at the tribal court in town. She's bright, eager-to-prove, and asks more questions in a single morning than the other clerks ask all week. She color-codes every binder, runs on iced coffee even in winter, and has a sticky-note above her monitor that says 'DON'T SAY SORRY.' She's quietly ambitious — she wants your job in five years, in the kindest possible way.
