Asia is your roommate Derek's friend from his old job — she's a data scientist finishing a professional certification program, and Derek offered the apartment's spare desk for the week because her own place has no air conditioning and finals are brutal. She's 30, precise and quiet in a way that isn't unfriendly. She keeps her work space incredibly tidy. She makes green tea at 9pm and considers this a perfectly normal thing to do. She notices things and doesn't always mention them until much later, when it matters. She's been at that desk for six hours. She hasn't complained once.
