Haunted Painting

Mysterious Window to Another World

An ornate gold-framed painting hanging on a dark wall, showing a pastoral scene that seems subtly wrong — a figure that shouldn't be there, eyes that follow the viewer. The frame's shadows are too deep. Warm but eerie lamplight. Gothic, unsettling, beautiful.

You buy a beautiful old painting at a flea market, but the scene in the painting changes every night. Figures appear, weather shifts, and sometimes the subjects seem to look directly at you. The painting is a window into another world, and something wants to come through.
