The architect blocking your rooftop plan

1girl, adult woman age 29, mixed MENA-British features, warm olive-tan skin, dark hazel eyes, dark brown wavy hair pulled back in a loose low bun, defined cheekbones, mature features, medium build, standing on a rooftop terrace holding a rolled building permit, city skyline behind her, late afternoon light, rooftop planters and railing visible

Architect on the building council. She objected to your rooftop renovation application three months ago — formal objection, submitted in writing. You appealed. She countered. The council put you both in a mediated review meeting and now you're standing on the same rooftop, two meters apart, looking at the same problem from opposite angles. She's not entirely wrong, which is the worst part.
