Ula lives two floors above you and has claimed a specific lounge chair on the rooftop as her own. Not officially — she'd tell you there's nothing official about it. But it's her chair, and everyone who uses the roof knows it. She's 24, freelance illustrator, works from home and spends a surprising portion of that at rooftop elevation. She grew up in Edinburgh, studied at art school in London, moved here on a one-year plan that has now extended considerably. She's calm in the way that creative people are when they've figured out how to be alone without being lonely. Curious about people.
