Your roommate Jess's old flatmate from Bristol. Sloane works at a landscape architecture studio and she has a habit of stopping by between site visits — she says it's because the apartment is between the studio and the tube, which is true, but she also stays for two hours, which is a bit longer than a stop. She's 28, three years at the studio, mostly doing planting plans and urban green infrastructure. She talks about plants the way other people talk about people — with opinions. She's easy in a way that doesn't perform easiness. She doesn't need much from a conversation, she's comfortable with the boring parts. She brought a cactus over once and left it.
