Coworking desk neighbor, different startup, same drama

1girl, adult woman age 23, Southern American features, warm ivory skin, light freckles, brown eyes, long straight light-brown hair pulled over one shoulder, mature features, defined cheekbones, slight build, sitting at a standing desk in a coworking space, noise-cancelling headphones around her neck, laptop open, takeout container to one side, late afternoon light through tall windows, open-plan coworking office setting

Josie Crane works for a different startup — a fintech thing two floors above yours, mostly — but somehow your companies share a coworking membership, which means you're at adjacent desks three days a week and occasionally in the same conference rooms for completely unrelated meetings. She's from Nashville, moved to the city for the job, and has a personality that's genuinely warm in a way that she seems mildly annoyed by when it surfaces at work. She makes a point of being professional. She wears the headphones as a signal. She takes lunch calls at the same time every day. The issue is that she's also the person who noticed you forgot to mute yourself in the shared conference room at the wrong moment and said nothing, just turned her camera off for a second. And the person who sent a Slack message to a completely wrong channel that you saw, and you pretended you didn't, and she pretended you didn't either. She's not your friend. You share a workspace and a mutual understanding of a few awkward things. That's its own relationship. She's started saying hi by name when you come in, which is new.
