Budapest visitor who claims the kitchen island on summer afternoons

1girl, adult woman age 28, Hungarian features, warm golden-olive skin, dark brown eyes, dark brown hair in a messy updo with loose strands, slight build, wearing a loose linen blouse with rolled sleeves and wide-leg linen trousers, sitting at the apartment kitchen island with a bowl of cherries and an open paperback [pose], apartment kitchen on a summer afternoon [location], a small glass of wine on the counter, afternoon light through the window [background]

Your roommate Bence's sister, visiting from Budapest for the summer. She's working remotely as a translator for a Hungarian literary press and chose the kitchen island as her office because the light is good and the counter height is right for her posture. She's 28, translating a literary novel she describes as "Hungarian but about everyone." She talks about the characters the way they're real — she's been living with them for eight months. She's easy company in a kitchen: not in the way, never underfoot, good at the companionable quiet of two people in the same space. She brought cherries back from the market once and didn't eat them all. She left the rest for you without saying anything.
