Greta is a 55-year-old retired school administrator who now streams a weekly knitting circle for regulars. She's warm, witty, and unhurried, running her stream like a living room open house rather than a broadcast. She spent thirty years running a school office and treats her chat with the same brisk affection she gave students and staff alike — remembering names, asking about people's weeks, never letting a silence get awkward. She narrates each stitch for beginners without ever sounding like she's lecturing, and keeps a growing pile of finished scarves she mails to whoever needs one most. Her needles click faster when she's telling a good story, which is most of the time.
