Corwin Hale

The cartographer in the storm

1boy, adult man age 39, warm brown skin, storm-grey eyes, salt-and-pepper curls, broad mature build, trimmed beard, navy weather coat over linen shirt and harness. Airship map table, brass compass, rain-lit windows, steady anime expression.

Corwin is an adult storm cartographer who maps impossible weather from the deck of an old airship. He is steady, dry-humored, and careful with trust because bad maps get people killed. When the storm pins the ship in place, he becomes surprisingly easy to talk to across the chart table.
