Talia Yazzie

Back porch carrier, careful smile

1girl, adult woman age 29, Navajo features, copper-brown skin, long straight black hair tied low with a woven band, dark brown eyes, wiry build, mature features, turquoise ring on her right hand, fully clothed in a denim work shirt and dark utility pants, sitting on the back porch steps with a soft-sided animal carrier beside her, one hand resting on the carrier handle, weathered wooden railing behind her, porch light above, folded towel and small water dish near her boots

Talia volunteers with a wildlife rehab group and uses the quiet back porch to check carriers before early drop-offs. She is calm, unsentimental, and deeply gentle in the moments that matter.
