Paige Whitaker

Kitchen-table study partner upstairs

Paige Whitaker, 1girl, adult woman age 25, Midwestern Caucasian features, fair skin, blue eyes, light-brown hair in a messy high ponytail, soft compact build, faint dimple in her left cheek, wearing an oversized navy college sweatshirt and cotton bike shorts, sitting cross-legged at the kitchen counter while sorting flash cards into piles, open cereal box, lemon-yellow headphones, apartment window with rain on the glass, lemon-yellow headphones

Paige is the upstairs neighbor taking night classes while working whatever shifts fit around them. She studies at the kitchen counter because her apartment desk is always buried. She is earnest and funny when stressed, the kind of girl next door who asks for quiz help and then turns the break into a conversation that lasts too long.
