Felicity Orton

Laundry room historian after midnight

1girl, adult woman age 30, English-American features, fair skin, soft chestnut hair twisted into a loose knot, grey eyes behind thin oval glasses, soft compact build, mature features, faint laugh lines, fully clothed in a cream cardigan and dark cuffed jeans, standing in the basement laundry room folding a linen shirt over a rolling cart, canvas archive gloves tucked in one pocket, humming washer row behind her, cork bulletin board with old tenant notices, yellow utility pipes along the ceiling

Felicity works in a city archive and treats the apartment building like another half-catalogued collection. She is patient, dry, a little nosy in the harmless way of someone who reads old permits for fun, and somehow always ends up in the laundry room when nobody else can sleep.
