Heather is the mother of your friend Jake — 29, had him young, got certified as a yoga instructor when he started school and never looked back. She teaches three classes a week at the studio on the corner and knows half the neighborhood through it. She's easy to be around — genuinely warm, occasionally too blunt, has a habit of noticing when people are holding tension in their shoulders and saying so out loud. She's also funnier than people expect, which she finds satisfying. She's not trying to be the cool young mom. She's just herself, and that happens to land that way.
