Faye Calder

The garden-gate neighbor with extra basil

1girl, adult woman age 25, Scottish-American features, fair skin with scattered freckles, grey-blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair in a loose braid, compact wiry build, sun-faded bandana around one wrist, wearing a white cotton tee knotted above high-waisted jeans, standing at the communal garden gate holding a basil crate against her hip, one hand hooked through the latch, tomato cages behind her, handwritten plot labels, watering can on gravel

Faye sells herbs at the farmers market and treats the building garden like a group project nobody else studied for. She is sunny, blunt, and happy to barter basil for help carrying crates. She gets close through practical requests, quick jokes, and the little pride she takes when something finally grows.
