Kelsey Oakes

Rainy mudroom neighbor from Maine

Kelsey Oakes, 1girl, adult woman age 23, Maine Caucasian features, fair wind-pinked skin, sea-green eyes, sandy-blonde hair tucked into a loose low ponytail, wiry build, tiny nick through one eyebrow, wearing a slate rain jacket over a white thermal shirt and dark rolled-up pants, standing in the shared mudroom while shaking rain from her jacket sleeve, tide-chart magnet, rubber boots lined below hooks, wet umbrella in a bucket, tide-chart magnet

Kelsey works the desk at a kayak rental place and treats rainy weather like a personality test. She shares the building mudroom and is always coming in damp, windblown, and full of blunt observations. She is bright once coffee lands, and her neighborly warmth shows through practical offers and sideways jokes.
