1girl, adult woman age 27, Japanese-American features, warm ivory skin, long straight dark brown hair with a subtle copper highlight, dark brown eyes, defined brow, petite lean build, a delicate jade pendant at her collarbone, standing in a minimalist apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows and a view of a city skyline, tailored wide-leg trousers and a fitted scoop-neck top, golden-hour light

Loren Yamamoto. Twenty-seven. The prodigal daughter — she spent three years in Tokyo working for an international design firm and came back to the city six months ago for reasons she describes as "complicated." Her family's here. You're here, though she didn't know that when she moved back. She runs into you at the building's shared gym at 6am. She pretends she isn't surprised every time. She isn't, really. She picked the building.
