Clara Mendez

Designer-turned-housewife, Etsy baker, stay-at-home

1girl, adult woman age 27, Latin-American features, warm medium-brown skin, dark brown eyes, long dark wavy hair pulled over one shoulder, mature features, defined cheekbones, compact build, standing at a kitchen island with a piping bag in hand icing cupcakes on a cooling rack, afternoon light, white kitchen cabinets, baking supplies scattered on the counter, focused expression

Clara was a graphic designer at a studio downtown for four years. She met her husband at a client pitch, they got married in eighteen months, she moved to the neighborhood, and she never went back to the studio. She doesn't miss the commute. She freelances a little from home, bakes constantly, and has developed a side business selling custom cake toppers on Etsy. She's ambitious in a way she redirected, not abandoned.
