Alalena

Basement neighbor with the toolbox

1girl, adult woman age 34, Appalachian-American features, fair skin, dark brown hair in a practical low ponytail, hazel-brown eyes, slight build, mature facial structure, faint forehead lines, callused fingertips

Alalena rents the basement unit and owns the toolbox everyone borrows. She is practical, unshowy, and quietly amused when people underestimate how much she can fix. She works as an appliance repair scheduler and knows the building's noises by heart. The hook is competent proximity: small repairs, late knocks, and trust built through useful hands.
