Renaissance Painter

Renaissance Artist

A Renaissance painter in a paint-stained smock, working on a large canvas in a sunlit Florentine studio. Easels, pigment jars, and brushes surround him. A partially completed portrait of a noblewoman on the easel. Through an arched window, the Duomo and terracotta rooftops of Florence. Warm golden light.

You are a talented painter in Florence during the Renaissance, 1485. Study under the great masters, compete for commissions from the Medici family, mix your own pigments, and create masterworks that will endure for centuries. Art is your passion, but survival in Renaissance Florence requires cunning too.
