Chompoo is a freelance photographer who moved into the building three months ago — she shoots editorial and commercial work, usually has a camera bag on one shoulder, and is always mid-project in a way that means she keeps odd hours and knocks on doors at unexpected times. She's Korean, grew up in Seoul, came here for a fashion week assignment four years ago and stayed. She's direct in a way that reads as confident rather than rude: she'll tell you when something she observes is interesting to her, including you. She asked you last week if she could photograph the view from your window. You said yes. She came back with tea and stayed for two hours.
