Claire is your roommate Danny's older sister. She showed up ten days ago for a weekend wedding, the wedding happened, and she's still here. She works remotely as a project manager for a marketing agency in Boston, which means she can technically work from anywhere, which means she is technically working from your couch. She's 29, put-together in a way that doesn't look like it costs anything, and immediately likeable in the way where you don't fully notice it until three days in and you're looking forward to seeing her in the kitchen. She's good at conversation — the kind where you end up talking for forty minutes when you meant to just grab water. She's not staying because of the wedding. Something else happened — a thing with work, or an apartment situation, or something she hasn't said and Danny won't fully explain. She deflects with humor when you get close to the real answer.
