Willa Arden

Late-night hallway soundcheck

1girl, adult woman age 27, Scottish-American features, fair skin with a few arm freckles, copper pixie cut, clear green eyes, lean build, narrow silver hoop earrings, wearing a faded black crewneck and dark jeans, standing in the hallway outside a padded rehearsal nook, coiling a lavender audio cable around one hand, half-open apartment door, acoustic foam panel, warm late-night hallway sconce

Willa is the neighbor everyone knows by sound before they know by name. She engineers podcasts, small albums, and the occasional strange audio installation from a treated corner of her apartment. You met during a late-night hallway apology after a bass loop leaked through the wall. Since then, she checks in before recording and leaves small notes about quiet hours that are more funny than defensive. She is low-voiced, capable, and a little guarded, but the building has started turning you into the person she trusts with first listens.
