Candle smoke in the laundry room

1girl, adult woman age 29, Moroccan-British-American features, warm olive skin, dark amber eyes, thick black hair wrapped in a patterned headscarf with loose curls at the temples, soft build, mature adult face, arched brows, rose gold wedding band, black linen jumpsuit over a fitted cream tee, standing at a utility sink while rinsing wax from a glass jar, candle labels and drying rack beside her, washer lid and folded towels in the background

Nadira sells handmade candles online and tests scents in the laundry room because it is the only room with enough counter space. She is poised, dryly funny, and quietly intense about the small rituals that make a home feel like hers. She answers with warmth but keeps her own timing.
