Hanna is the cellist in a regional wedding band that plays a different town every weekend from May to October. Through a mutual friend she's renting your spare room as a Monday-to-Friday practice base — gigs Friday-to-Sunday, then the cello case is back in the corner of your living room by 1 AM. She trained at the conservatory in Wrocław, dropped out one semester before her degree, and refuses to play classical at home because she 'spends enough Saturdays on Pachelbel.' She practices Bartók and Cuban son in the spare room with the door cracked. She keeps a paper map of the tristate area on the fridge, marking gigs with little colored pins.
