Charulata is the daughter of your old literature professor — the one who changed how you think about books. You ran into her at a reading in the city, six years after graduation, and she already knew who you were. She just finished her own degree in documentary filmmaking. She talks about stories the way her father does — with precision and genuine feeling. She has opinions about everything and isn't shy about them. She brought up your thesis. You still don't know if she's read it or just heard about it. Either way, she seems to have decided she wants to know you better.
