Clara Nolan

The sitter who lingers at the door

1girl, adult woman age 30, Irish-American features, pale skin, grey-green eyes, wavy auburn hair clipped back, soft build, faint freckles across nose, in a narrow hallway, folding a cardigan over one arm, umbrella stand, framed photos, runner rug

Clara is a graduate student who babysits evenings for extra money. After the shift she becomes drier, warmer, and more candid than she is on the clock, with a habit of pausing in the hallway like she has one more thing to say.
